21. Get creative with your contouring kit!

Or at least get your contouring tool from your kitchen. Grab a spoon and get ready to sculpt like a pro. This trick has been covered very well on YouTube, with many gurus even performing the task with a chef’s knife. Needless to say, we don’t recommend that one.
Aside from safety concerns, the spoon wins out over the knife because of the more natural result. Contouring with one sharp angle doesn’t work for most faces. Instead, take a spoon and hold it at an angle pointing slightly downward, so that the head of the spoon cups the apple of your cheek.
Next apply bronzer or contour below the spoon. Don’t reload your brush, but rather, keep blending until the product is diffused. After you take the spoon away, blend out any residual harshness. Your cheekbones should be popping!
