Another photo from the Prohibition days… The ban on alcohol was lifted about 12 years later.

This is a photo of Wormwood Street, London in 1993, shortly after IRA detonated a bomb in Bishopgate. The bomb killed one person, but it caused a lot of damage to surrounding architecture.
