The train’s final stop is unknown
This is a train station in North Korea that is nearly empty. Even though it is rush hour there are no people to be seen hurrying to catch the train – travelling through the country is simply forbidden for these people. Taking this photo could have caused photographer Eric Lafforgue his freedom. The dictatorship way of presenting the country as a modern and developing economy fails as they forgot that in order to have such you need to allow the people to travel.
