Ryugyong Hotel, North Korea – Construction on this 105-story skyscraper began in 1987, but was stopped in 1992 due to the economic crisis in North Korea. The construction resumed in 2008, and although it looks fine on the outside now, this hotel is still abandoned and empty on the inside. The project is still halted, and no one knows when it will truly be completed.
