Vail – Vail is a ski resort located in the Eagle County of Colorado. It is situated right next to the town of Vail, which was built after the resort opened in 1962. Vail is known as the third largest single mountain ski resort in the United States. It is divided into three sections, and contains 193 runs, 53% of which are for expert skiers.
